This Cafe was randomly stumbled upon and couldn’t resist it’s floor to ceiling windows on it’s corner location of E. 12th and Avenue A. The place is well known since it was almost hard to grab a seat, but, that just means it’s extremely worth the wait.
Their menu is basic and to the point:
- French press coffee
- Americano
- Espresso
- Macchiato
- Cortado
- Cappuccino
- Latte
- Mocha
- Hot Chocolate
- Chai Latte
- Variety of organic loose-leaf teas
Forget trying to order a grande half-caf soy latte with a pump and a splenda! It was refreshingly nice to not have so many options.

Atmosphere:
There was a lot of foot traffic which made it hard to focus on the book I was reading but then again I’ve been told I have a mild form of A.D.D. and I’m a notorious people-watcher :) Otherwise, it’s a great place to chat with a friend and catch up with the aroma of fresh ground coffee beans in the air! Enjoy!
